The manosonic function consists in adding an overpressure to the sound wave pulsated aerosol to produce a positive pressure into the inhalation circuits and the nasal fossae.
This pneumatic device is adapted to medicines aerolization for ENT and to the production of an overpressure.
This overpressure is automatically applied to the nose at the exact moment of the swallowing when the velum raising seals the back of the nasal fossae. So this overpressure goes on the ostium level of the hearing tube that leads the nasal fossas and makes sure the aerosol transfer through the hearing tube.
The overpressure delivered is adjustable from 15 hPa to 50 hPa. The nebulization system with this function is named manosonic aerosol generator.
This application concerns the tubal dysfunctions treatment and secretory otitis of tubal origin.
